    There are permissions for bending during the day so it might be that. You can either give the permission or disable it in the config (I think)

    Unless bedrock is set as earthbendable in the config, it won't destroy bedrock. If it looks like it does, then you may have something else on the server making non-bedrock blocks look like bedrock as you said

    The "avatar" element is just an element for abilities with no element. Like AvatarState. They shouldn't have access to avatarstate or any avatar moves unless you granted it to them. You either gave them bending.*, bending.ability.* or have opped them.
