This is my interpretation of what the ice wave could look like. Notice how it scales up the blocks and connects to the water source. The waterbender can then use this as a source of speed AND use the ice as a water source as I show in the gif. Also, notice how the "slide" curves towards the end...

My opinions about her look isn't completely bias towards appeal. I look more towards what the look represents in the show. It's how my opinions are formed.

Her pony-tails were sort of her signature, similarly to Katara's "hair loopies" (As said by Sokka). But I respect her cutting her hair is symbolism for her ridding herself of her past and starting anew. But I still think she was at her best, strongest self with her signature style.

It'd probably be easier and more fluid to control it with your mouse. The ice raft can act like the current surge shield does when you do that neat waterspout trick that allows you to use waterspout on land.

Maybe have something a bit similar to this? Instead of having the wall VERTICALLY push you, the wall then starts to turn horizontal and you "ride" the horizontal wall. It'd be too similar to WaterWave so there'd need to be something different about it.
