Only the eye glow would be short duration, the actual avatar-state-spiral-thingy is what would be full duration.

I know there's the issue of the skin having the eyes in a different location, but not everything can be perfect I guess xD Put the eyes where a MAJORITY of skin-eyes are.

Just a blatant circle around the user may not look good (and would block sight) but a possible spiral or simple animation would do. It could be possible that some White reddust particles could spawn at the users eyes but only for a bit. Like sometimes when the Avatar goes into the avatar state...

Give them an aura of particles.... It was in the show, Korra had it. And there were times where her eyes emitted some sort of particle. When she was in the Red Lotus chamber her eyes glowed so much that they had this white trail of particles. And then while she fought Unalaq during harmonic...

I know it's snow but I doubt their intricate Ice Palace is made of the soft snow we're used to. To withstand weather it'd have to be like solid ice almost.

You didn't hear his screams? He was on an ice berg with Roku and then blasted all the way to the TOP of the palace by a "surge" like ability..... That would take a lot of force (by the water).

Obviously Omni spent time with the move; he updated it. It's clear they want it so making the post would be pointless.

If they were considering it then they could have said "Hey, this is a neat idea you should elaborate in a suggestion post" but instead they updated it and didn't care lol

If they thought it was necessary they would have implemented it regardless of where it was. Discarding any sort of a good idea just because it wasn't mentioned in the right place is silly.

I think water needs more fluidity before they start focusing on adding more damaging moves.

If this "surge" type move from the AVATAR only made this person *shake their heads a bit to recover* then I doubt a mini surge would do that much damage.
