/bending items is the command for all of that. Better yet, try '/bending items help' and use all the commands from there. You can give yourself for a example a [glider] or a [cactusjuice] with the command (if I recall correctly; again, double check if it is the right one through help command)...

NB wasn't removed. The List just got updated and cleared all the bending servers, so everyone had to re-add their own back to it. You can even see that the admin (@Mist) said himself that he won't be removing servers based on what reputation it has with the pk and in general minecraft community...

I think it was before the release of 1.8.0 betas and stable. Devs actually mistakenly removed it, but they do have plans in returning that option, though it might take a while as it ain't easy to do that (according to one of the devs).
